What Bondly never asks for
A password, a seed or recovery phrase, a private key, a payment, or a blockchain transaction. Signing in with a wallet is a message signature that costs no gas and moves nothing. If anything on Bondly, or anyone claiming to be Bondly, asks for one of these, it is a scam.
Scam filters
Profiles and messages are checked for the most common scam patterns: recovery-phrase and private-key requests, money requests, "guaranteed returns", wallet addresses and gift-card or wire-transfer language. Flagged content is blocked before it is sent. The filter is a safety net, not a guarantee: if someone asks you to move the conversation to a wallet or a "platform", stop and report.
What "verified X" means
A member signed in to Bondly through X's official login, proving they control that X account at that time. It is proof of account control, not a background check.
Your controls
- Block from any profile or conversation menu. Blocked members cannot see you, message you or appear in your discovery.
- Report profiles, messages, posts and replies. Reports go to human moderators.
- Privacy settings let you hide from discovery, hide online status, restrict who can message you and set a Hearts region preference.
- Hearts mode is opt-in, 18+, and separate from your Bags profile.
Meeting in person
Public place, tell a friend, keep your own transport, and keep wallets and devices out of the conversation on a first meeting. Video-call first if you can.
If something goes wrong
Report in-app, then use the contact page if you need a person. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
